warm & fuzzy &

Loving lurkers all over! SO cool to read about who you are and where you live and why you stop by my blog. Seriously...thanks so much for commenting! It's so cool to know that I've met some of you "in real life" and hopefully over the long haul I'll get to meet more. I'm going to for sure check out some of your blogs and whatnot...hopefully I'll have some free time this weekend to do that.

And by the way...NO problem if you are around and can't/don't want to comment. Really. But for people who think I will think they're weird for commenting? Or who feel weird? Don't. I won't. I promise. I'm weird enough for all of use put together. I love weird.

I feel like I have a lot to say, but I'm actually supposed to be working at my actually very busy job and so I'm somewhat scattered because there is so much going on! I want to be surfing the net, I want to be at home opening a package from K that came today (Dren opened it while we were on the phone...so cute...calls and says "hey babe, paperjax got a biiiig package today"..."whoah babe...there is a LOT of stuff in here." "ok...i'm just going to put it on your chair so nothing gets lost. there are butterflies and wings and stuff...what's that about!?" and "who's k-l-a?"(pronouncing every letter separately), and be on the scrapologie message boards where i am now a brand new proud design team member! oooh...make that "studio girl". Classy, huh? And I want to be making stuff, and sorting stuff out, and hangin with my sister who's dad is in the hospital (we have different dads), and reading my new Home & Garden magazine on colour, and playing boggle and yahtzee and and and....I know there's more. But I just can't remember now. And trying to work in between each blog post sentence isn't really working. So I'm gonna upload some layouts and be on my way.

I have SO many "persons". Seriously. I really do. But Colleen (who doesn't visit my blog, even to lurk) and I have been through ups and downs. We are very different people and she is probably my closest "IRL" friend. LOL. I can't believe I'm 29 years old and talking as if I have imaginary friends. But I definitely do have a lot of scrappy all over the worldish type friends. For real.sies. But Christina ranting about how Meredith is "her person" got me so goose-bumpy that I had to do a layout immediately. And I need more photos printed. Just FYI.

My baby. Feels like I haven't done a layout about him forEVER. It's probably been a week.

Dare 59...wow! That's a lotta dares. This is my friend's daughter Taila. To use a black and white and a colour photo on your page.

OK now really. Seriously. I HAVE to get some work done. Going to do that. Most likely I think for sure maybe. ;)

I guess I'm one of those lurkers you mentioned before, just a very slow lurker who's only checked out your blog today...:) To be out and out honest, the reason I don't comment on, well, most blogs is because I don't think my opinion will matter to that person, I mean what do I know?! Lol, of course now I get comments I realise it's not so much about the 'what they know' (so to speak) more the proof that there's nice people out there who actually take time out to say hi and something nice about your work, makes me smile - proof of humanity - so now it's my mission to make others smile (at least I hope I do!) Wow that was a ramble...anyhoo, I love your work! First noticed on the 'Dares' and your 'medium' linked to by Kristina last week is fab, I'm all about the books right now! Anyway, I've taken up enough space, but there is something I NEED to know - on your gorge 'Dare' layout this week (#59) where oh where do you get those label stickers from?! I keep seeing them on layouts but can't find them for love nor money! :) Thanks, Samm x

hello. My name is Crystal and I'm a lurker! I think I probably saw your blog through the dares one and was interested your layouts. What keeps me coming back is that you seem so normal...meaning that you could be anyone of my (IRL) friends! So if you'd like to know more about me check out my blog....

I came across your blog while reading another. You know how you can be reading a blog you visit regularly and it links you into another blog, and so on? And suddenly you make this fabulous discovery and can't remember the "Six Degrees of Separation" that got you there?? Well, here I am, and I'm so touched by your post about the homeless, I'm laughing at your posts about lurkers, and I'm just smiling about finding your blog. It's wonderful!!! I look forward to reading more.

Thank you for what you did to help that lady. I know that feeling of "should I have done more???". I see people on the street and realize that so many of US are but a thin line from the same situation.

You have a big, beautiful heart. And a fascinating mind. Thanks!!!

okay well, I just caught up on your happenings and read the lurker post. so yes, I am a lurker. I first saw you at Scrapbook Oasis in Irvine a few weeks ago during Kristi's first class. I didn't say hi or anything (maybe I should have) because it took me a while to put two and two together and figure out who all the teacher's pets were (hahaha).

I think even posted on my blog that all the effer girls were in the same room as me.

and I'm in the same boat. I'm work right now (granted it's pretty slow right now...I work in a pharmacy) but I want to be scrapping too. and I have a ton of counter space here to work on, just nothing to work ON. so maybe tomorrow, since I'm working alone tomorrow and hopefully there won't be a lot of people needing their meds. cuz God forbid they interrupt my scrap time at work...

Hi! MAJOR luker here! LOL Saw you on the Dares site (I think around 7 months ago) and then have followed you here ever since. Lots of things drew me to your blog...LOVE your creativity (and PAPER! Congrat's!), LOVE your city (I grew up in Seattle and visited often), our family "looks" like yours ;-) and your Jaxon reminds me of my Jaden (I'm starting a "Melting Pot Moms" club BTW -- meltingpotmoms.org coming soon!), and I was a French major so when I saw "c'est moi" I HAD to click! LOL I'm sure there are many more reasons, but that's a few in a nutshell! :-) So there...now I've come out of hiding! :D Hope we get to meet one day.
